Shipping & orders
2 answersWhen will my watch leave the atelier?
Ready-to-ship watches usually leave the Lucerne dispatch desk within one business day. Standard delivery takes 3 to 5 business days, and express delivery takes 1 to 2 business days after handoff to the carrier.
How do I check a delivery status?
Use the order lookup with the order number from your confirmation email to see carrier, tracking number, expected arrival, items, and return window. Client care can also find your latest order in chat after a short identity check.
Returns
2 answersWhat condition is accepted for a return?
A watch can be returned within 30 days if it is unworn beyond careful try-on. Scratched cases, resized bracelets without the spare links, missing packaging, or water damage may reduce or block a refund.
How do I start a return?
Choose an eligible order, select the watch, and tell us the reason for the return. Client care will then confirm collection details, any photos needed, and the final packing instructions.
Warranty & service
2 answersWhat does the two-year warranty cover?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects in movement, case, dial, hands, crown, and clasp under normal use. It does not cover scratches, impacts, worn leather straps, or water damage outside the stated water resistance.
When should an automatic watch be serviced?
For regular wear, a mechanical service is usually sensible after five to seven years. Send the watch earlier if it suddenly runs far fast or slow, stops despite winding, or shows moisture under the glass.
Sizing & straps
2 answersHow do I choose the right case size?
Diameter is only one clue. Wrist size, case height, lug-to-lug length, dial color, and strap material all change how large a watch feels. As a guide, 34 to 38 mm reads discreet, 39 to 41 mm versatile, and 42 mm plus more present.
Can you size a bracelet before shipping?
Yes. Add your wrist measurement at checkout and the bracelet can be sized before dispatch. Spare links are included, so the fit can be adjusted later if needed.
Water & care
2 answersCan I swim with my Aurel & Axis watch?
It depends on the model. A 100 m watch such as Meridian 39 is suitable for normal water exposure when the crown is closed. Dress watches on leather straps should avoid swimming, hot showers, soap, and sauna heat.
How should I care for leather and steel straps?
Let leather dry after wear and keep it away from perfume, sweat, and soaking water. Steel bracelets can be wiped with a soft cloth; if water is used, make sure the watch is rated for it and the crown is closed.
Product advice
1 answerIs quartz or automatic better?
Neither is automatically better. Quartz is very accurate and low-maintenance. Automatic is mechanical, battery-free, and more emotional to wear. The right choice depends on whether you value precision, ease, or mechanical character most.
Language
1 answerCan I switch between English and German?
Yes. Start in either language and switch at any time. Try "Bitte sprich Deutsch mit mir" and then "Please switch back to English."
